Join the Gleaning Team on Tuesday Mornings – Collect Farm Fresh Produce
Gleaning is one way that we can ensure that Alexandrians in need have access to fresh produce and also reduces food waste. Through our partnership with Arlington Friends of Urban Agriculture and local farms volunteers have harvested thousands of pounds of produce that would have otherwise been left in a field.

Let us know if you’d like to join the gleaning team for their next trip to harvest produce from local farms. Trips this summer are scheduled for Tuesday mornings at 7am (with Thursdays as additional dates, and rain dates).

September 12
