Emergency Financial Assistance
ALIVE! provides monetary assistance to Alexandria city residents for rent, utilities, medical expenses, and other emergency needs. To receive assistance, clients must be referred by the Alexandria Office of Community Services 703-746-5700, an ALIVE! member congregation, or another social service agency. Have them complete our Family Assistance Referral Form.
Home Delivery
Family Assistance also provides home delivery and food assistance for the elderly, disabled, and single parents. To receive assistance, clients must be referred by the Alexandria Office of Community Services 703-746-5700, an ALIVE! member congregation, or another social service agency.
