June Volunteer Schedule with ALIVE!

It takes a big team of volunteers to ensure that the food insecure families in our community have access to the assistance they need.

Thank you to the more than 100 volunteers who signed up to lend a hand Saturday’s ALIVE!’s food distributions at Cora Kelly Elementary School, NOVA Alexandria Campus, and William Ramsay Rec Center.

We couldn’t serve our neighbors in need without help from PHI NU OMEGA Chapter of AKA, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity helping with food distribution, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteers and Deputies from the Alexandria Sheriff’s Office who managed traffic, and the volunteers who assist with language translation in Spanish, Dari, Pashto and more!

If you would like to lend a hand at an upcoming Saturday Furniture delivery just sign up online. We are looking to build teams of 4-7 volunteers each Saturday to load and unload the truck plus one person willing to drive the delivery truck.
