Congregational Connection
ALIVE! Activities & Updates

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated food items and reusable bags last week! Together, we collected more than 2,500 pounds of food. Thank you for taking action to commemorate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and to ensure that our entire community can stay healthy, safe, and fed.

Also, a special thank you to the congregations who served as collection points during these days of action: Immanuel Church on the Hill, First Christian Church, Episcopal Church of Saint Clement, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and Agudas Achim Congregation.

39,000 Pounds of Donated Items!

Thank you to Member Congregation, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, for the donation of 24 pallets of food and household items! That’s roughly 39,000 pounds of rice, corn, pears, peaches, peanut butter, laundry detergent, dish soap, and more. ALIVE! sends a special thank you to Congregational Representative, Michael Hill, for helping make the donation happen.

Donations like this help ALIVE! to keep our costs down and to ensure that we can meet the rising need for basic assistance in our community.
